Sentience                       Statement

Sentience, the ability to perceive subjectively, is a series in which I am interested in illustrating that which cannot be seen. Of the art mediums photography is perhaps the most truthful in its ability to reproduce a scene and yet there is much it does not capture.

This series illustrates scenarios where subjects have become sentient about the unseen forces in their surroundings. Forces such as feelings are represented by bright light sources used to direct but not form conclusions for viewers.
